About Bush Support Services
![]()
The psychological support of those delivering health care to the remote and isolated regions of Australia is one of the three focus areas of CRANAplus.
The Bush Support Services division supports remote health workers striving to provide an optimal standard of health care to their clientele. With finding from the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, we provide clinical and cultural awareness training as well as support for multi-disciplinary health workers and their families working in remote or isolated regions of Australia.
We help remote Australia support and retain a vital healthy workforce by providing 24-hour confidential support to people in the bush. Our focus is prevention, but we’re there to assist on the road to recovery as well.
We’re only a phone call away.
If you are working in a remote area and are involved in the delivery of health related services, you and your family are eligible to use our services. No matter where you are in Australia, we’re there for you at no cost to you.
Don’t wait!
People are encouraged to use the Support Line sooner rather than later. Don’t wait until you feel overwhelmed.
Our caring professional staff understands the realities of isolation and a remote lifestyle. They can offer practical coping strategies and survival tips to prevent burnout and other concerns before they become a crisis.
