Evidence Based Practice Guideline Information
Please fill in a description
The guidelines are based on consensus of a national guideline group which involved all key disciplines in the development process.
The guidelines may be classified as having medium to low scientific validity since they have been developed from an unsystematic review due to the current lack of evidence from controlled trials.
The evidence from which these guidelines arose is available in a foundation paper, 'Preventing Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Among Remote Health Practitioners: An Overview of the Evidence' (1999) which is published as Paper 2 of the CRANA Occasional Paper Series.
